Under no circumstances should any person under the age of 16 years operate a converted bumper car without direct adult supervision.
When converted to 12 volt power, a bumper car has the ability to reach speeds of 20 miles per hour, five times the speed of an amusement park ride. There is no provision for aftermarket brakes; therefore, collision with any stationary object may cause the vehicle operator serious bodily harm. Extreme caution and appropriate restraint must always be used in the operation of any bumper car to avoid the risk of serious personal injury.
To the extent allowable under applicable law, seller's liability for consequential and incidental damages and physical injury is expressly disclaimed. No liability, expressed or implied, shall be attached to seller arising from the operation of a converted bumper car vehicle by the purchaser.
